Università Politecnica delle Marche (Italy)

1st specialized course "Microsoft Learning Paths" on Cloud, BigData, AI/ML, Security topics.

Academic year 2018/2019 - 2nd semester. Professor Domenico Ursino and the UnivPM Leadership Team launched the first pilot of a Specialized Course on Cloud, BigData, AI/ML and Security completely based on the Microsoft Learn platform. 

36 students enrolled - more than 1000 modules completed. Phenomenal amount and quality of feedback collected.
Very successful initiative and much appreciated by students themselves - some completed all Paths and continued to use it after the end of the course. Very positive comments from the Professor, the Rector and the Dean - they were happy to announce that the initiative is continuing in the next academic year and expanding to more topics!

FIAP (Brazil)

2 courses on "IOT, Cloud & Infrastructure" were supported by practical lessons with Microsoft Learn

During the 1st semester of 2019, FIAP launched classes dedicated to the use of Microsoft Learn. In partnership with Professor Renato Gonçalves de Oliveira, students were able to increase their level of expertise in Cloud Computing and Azure.

53 Participating students: 81% of the students successfully completed the MS Learn Class requirements
Students completed 180+ Microsoft Learn modules on Azure
Students rated that their knowledge of Cloud Computing increased a lot (8.8 out of 10)
The Microsoft Learn project works and it's proven! 4 Students who completed the Microsoft Learn Fundamentals path, decided to take the AZ-900 exam and they all passed it! Subsequently they were also nominated for internships at Microsoft. Congratulations to: Daniele Peixoto, Mauro Bonilha, Igor Hugo Martins and Leonardo Ferreira!

ITM (Mexico)

Microsoft Learn-based Interest Group

ITM kicked off an interest group during the 1st semester of 2019. With 36 students in the group, led by Professor Belinda Pastrana, the students were free to explore a variety of Microsoft Learn materials.

Students completed 60+ Learning Paths and 570+ Modules in Azure Services, Power Platform, Dynamics, Visual Studio, and .NET
ITM shined at reporting quality feedback that helped improve the Spanish quality and the MS Learn platform
As a result, ITM will be partnering with Microsoft to create a Women in Tech project for the safety of women in Mexico using Azure Services

Jilin University (China)

Thanks to professor Wang, the first "Azure Cloud Computing in Practice" class was run from April to June 2019, with the support of the Microsoft Learn platform. Students got practical training on the Cloud but also on .Net and other technologies. 

19 engaged students completed more than 400 modules and reported critical feedback. Some of them were so engaged that they continued completing modules even beyond the end of the course 😊

Peking University (China)

With Professor Jiang’s support, “Software in Practice” class was run from April 2019 in Peking University, one of the oldest and top academic institutes in China.
Students have gained practical training on the Cloud and .NET through Microsoft Learn platform. In addition, Microsoft Most Valuable Professional speakers have also given students insights of the industry during the semester.  

54 engaged students completed more than 600 modules and reported critical feedback. Some of them were so engaged that they continued completing modules even beyond the end of the course 😊
